The Cosy Bus Service of Burslem became part of Associated NS Bus Proprietors in 1934. It was, in fact, a coupon torn from a pad, which had initially been purchased by a local resident / ratepayer. The arrangement was introduced in July 1910 and it is believed that this coupon probably dates from around that time, and was almost certainly produced by a local printer.
