12LONDON GENERAL OMNIBUS Co. Ltd. Selection of geographical punch type BUS TICKETS from Service 14 serving Putney with early routings comprising 1d, 1½d, 2d (2 different), 3d and 4d issues. All are early types with green fare overprints. Condition varies, but good overall. Note: This is the continuation of the disposal of a comprehensive collection of London Bus, Tram and Trolleybus tickets assembled over 50 years ago which commenced in our July catalogue. They have been sorted and lotted into "geographical" areas and in this catalogue the routes serving Putney, Edgware, Mill Hill and Colindale and Old Ford are offered. It is intended to continue the "geographical" theme in further batches of tickets from this collection in our October and future catalogues. Be sure to look out for the other lots in this catalogue. 17LONDON SOUTHERN TRAMWAYS COMPANY. A 3d green punch type HORSE TRAM TICKET for the route Norwood – Vauxhall in excellent condition. The tramway opened on 4/6/1881 and was taken over by LCC Tramways on 20/12/1906. (1)£250

19A COLOUR POSTCARD produced in 1908 depicting the London Underground system. The reverse side refers to the Liverpool Street Hotel (later named Great Eastern Hotel) with instructions (in French) how to get to the "Franco-British" Exhibition at Wood Lane. VGC, postally used. (1)£22
20Two LT enamel bullseye Underground CAR NUMBER BADGES "10063" and "92029". The latter is from a 1938 Stock Non-driving Motor that was later renumbered 12029. Minor chipping round screw holes, otherwise good. A rare opportunity to purchase a palindromic numbered example! (2)£30

29A 20" X 30" colour PICTORIAL POSTER entitled "HATFIELD ROUTE 155 SUNDAYS ONLY" with artwork by F. Gregory Brown and issued by the LGOC. Undated, but probably circa 1916. Has been folded in two places and is a little ragged round the edges, but a rare poster nevertheless. (1)£150
30 An "EAST SURREY" TRACTION Co Ltd UNIFORM CAP BADGE in traditional bullseye shape with red and blue enamel on brass. Has been used, but all enamel is complete with no chips or wear. A rarity. (1)£300

49An LPTB quad-royal size POSTER MAP of "Central Area Stations and Surrounding Streets" being a diagrammatic map of lines with small circles at each station within which are small street plans of the immediate vicinity. A very unusual map indeed. Printed by Edward Stanford Ltd. London and published in 1935. VGC although has been folded. (1)£48
50A LONDON UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC RAILWAYS DISPLAY and POCKET MAP on folded card as issued to promote the extension of the Charing Cross Euston & Hampstead line in 1907. Colourful illustration of train and platform scene, this example featuring Kentish Town with details of fares and first and last trains. 5" x 2½" folded opening out to 14¼" x 2½" in excellent condition. 62SOUTH LONDON TRAMWAYS Co. 1d white punch type HORSE TRAM TICKET for the journey To or From "Princes Head" & Nine Elms in excellent condition. An early issue dating from c.1881 when the company commenced its operations which grew to a network of 12.87 miles. The system was taken over by LCC Tramways on 22/11/1902. (1)£150
