10An LT ENAMEL TARGET STATION SIGN “Tower Hill” small size 18½” x 24½” in one piece in red, white, blue and black enamel with brass edging. This sign was produced in 1946 when the station was renamed from Mark Lane and recovered when the station was resited to it’s present location on 5th February 1967. VGC except for a little chipping at one edge which does not detract. A rare opportunity to obtain a classic item. (1)£740

12LONDON GENERAL OMNIBUS Co. and LGOC & ASSOC Cos. selection of all different geographical punch type BUS TICKETS from Service 32 in the South West London Area issued between c.1919/20-1933 including nine Returns. All have been loose mounted by the vendor into an album with references to show changes in stage names/routes in the different sets offered. Condition is mostly good with some unusual/rare issues noted. Note: This is the continuation of the disposal of a comprehensive collection of London Bus, Tram and Trolleybus tickets assembled over 50 years ago which commenced last year. They have been sorted and lotted into “geographical” areas and in this catalogue the routes serving Hounslow, Lampton and/or Turnham Green areas are featured. The “geographical” theme will continue in further batches of tickets from this collection in our April and July 2003 catalogues. Be sure to look out for the other lots in this catalogue. (26)£110

33An LPTB Underground POCKET MAP No. 2 1936 produced specially for Barclays Bank Trustee Dept. with notes on the map pointing to Monument and Piccadilly Circus stations. The front has evidence of being pasted into an album at some stage, the remainder is in VGC. An unusual item. (1)£95
