10A “General” bar and circle UNIFORM CAP BADGE in blue enamel on nickel silver as issued to drivers and conductors of the LGOC from c1913/14 until the formation of the LPTB in 1933. Badge has a small nick to the enamel but otherwise excellent, complete with lugs and rear fixing pin. (1)£90
11LANCASTER & DISTRICT TRAMWAYS COMPANY single fold card TRAM TIMETABLE for October 1914 in good condition. (1)£50
12LONDON UNDERGROUND PICTORIAL POSTER dating from 1922 featuring a theatre with scenes of pantomime and fairy-tale characters in cut-out form and the legend: “By Underground for Pleasure Whether for Country Joys or Stage Fancies” plus a message: “To The Children” advising where to get the associated book and theatre instructions. Artistic credits to C. Lovat Fraser and Albert Rutherston. Double royal size (25” x 40”) and has been mounted on hardboard and covered in clear matt film for display purposes. (1)N/S

A selection of tickets which have been loose mounted into an album by the vendor is offered to show changes in stage names/route patterns during the period covered. Condition is mostly good with some unusual/rare issues noted. Note: This is the continuation of the disposal of a comprehensive collection of London Bus, Tram and Trolleybus tickets assembled over 50 years ago which commenced in 2001. They have been sorted and assembled into “geographical” areas and in this catalogue the routes serving the Harrow and Harrow Road areas are featured. The “geographical” theme will continue in further batches of tickets from this collection in our April and July 2005 catalogues. Be sure to look out for the other lots in this catalogue. (37)£450
