| London & North Eastern Railway. It is very unusual indeed to come across a previously unheard of platform ticket. This issue from Whitby West Cliff is just that, nothing has previously been recorded from the station. It is of L&NER Type 2, clearly dated 7 September 1936 and in good condition. |
