However, some may have paper, glue or Sellotape residue on the back due to previous mounting. Due to limitations of space, we may not always point this out in the catalogue description, for which we apologise. Customers should satisfy themselves as to the condition of tickets prior to bidding.

Note: This is the continuation of the disposal of a comprehensive collection of London Bus, Tram and Trolleybus tickets assembled over 50 years ago which commenced in 2001. They have been sorted and assembled into “geographical” areas and in this catalogue the theme is ‘Way out West’. 23	CITY OF OXFORD ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS LTD 1d mauve named stage punch type TRAM TICKET for the route Cowley Terminus – Wolvercote c.1910, used and in excellent condition. The system opened in December 1881 as a horse tramway. Upon electrification in 1908, the title changed to that on the ticket. Services ceased altogether in the summer of 1914 having succumbed to bus competition. VGC. (1)	£65
