PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise stated, all tickets are whole Edmondson card in what we consider to be "good" condition. However, some may have paper, glue or Sellotape residue on the back due to previous mounting. Due to limitations of space, we may not always point this out in the catalogue description, for which we apologise. Customers should satisfy themselves as to the condition of tickets prior to bidding.

2NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY: Issued 3rd single Wharram (closed 5/6/1950) to Bainton (closed 20/9/1954). The full date is illegible and there is a little Bd and a cancellation clip, but this is a rare item from two of the lesser-used country stations in East Yorkshire. The low number of the ticket indicates that this was not a common journey. (1)£50
3SOUTHPORT TRAMWAYS CO. LTD. 2d white geographical stage punch type TRAM TICKET for the Cambridge Road route. The company’s lines were taken over by Southport Corporation in 1918. (1)£45

112THE HARTLEPOOL ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS ½d buff geographical punch type TRAM TICKET for the Foggy Furze route with the stages Church Street – Elswick Road – Foggy Furze. The company was authorised to rebuild the defunct 3’ 6” gauge Hartlepool Steam Tramways which closed in 1891 using overhead electric power and was opened on 19th May 1896 finally reaching nearly 7 miles in length. West Hartlepool Corporation took over the system in August 1912. The system finally succumbed to trolleybus replacement when the Seaton Carew line closed on 25th March 1927. A rare example in excellent condition.£190

159GREAT EASTERN RAILWAY issued 3rd single from Newmarket HL to Bromford Bridge, dated 21/9/1914. This was the original Newmarket station, which was replaced by a new one on 7/4/1902. This ticket, which is in excellent condition apart from a cancellation clip at the top, would have been used for that purpose – Bromford Bridge being the station for Birmingham Racecourse. (1)£75
